Born in 1883, Napoleon Hill started his life in poverty, but would become what many consider to be the founder of the modern personal development movement. Spending his youth in a one-room cabin in rural Virginia, Napoleon went through many upheavals, including the death of his mother at the age of 10. When he came into adolescence, Hill began writing for small town newspapers, and the earnings derived from this work helped him pay his law school tuition fees.
This success lead to the real watershed moment in Hill's life: an assignment given him to interview industrialist Andrew Carnegie in a series of biographies on famous men. Carnegie at the time was one of the richest men in the world, and he told Hill that he felt success could be channeled into a simple formula that could be utilized by anyone. Impressed with the young interviewer, Carnegie commissioned Hill to interview over 500 millionaires so that he might formulate the key elements of success. The project lasted over 20 years, during which Hill served as Carnegie's advisor while interviewing diverse figures such as William H. Taft, F.W. Woolworth and Charles M. Shwab among others.
The product of this intensive study was published in 1928 under the title The Law of Success and later elaborated on in Hill's most famous work Think and Grow Rich, published in 1937. After publishing numerous books and lecturing on the mechanics of personal success, and the importance of a positive mental attitude, Hill's status as the innovator of a new field began to grow. As of this writing, Think and Grow Rich has sold 60 Million copies worldwide and is one of the holy grails in self-help literature. By the time Hill passed away in November 1970, he had created a vast legacy that has imparted the laws of personal achievement, self-motivation, and sound leadership to a new generation of self-help teachers.
A classic of classics on personal success, the book, like Think and Grow Rich, has changed millions of people’s lives. It has well stood the test of time and is still fulfilling the role of a great mentor to people around the world. MSL will aggressively promote this extraordinary book of wisdom and motivation as we believe that people who have read the book and have applied the principles advocated will be more driven, more committed to a purpose in life, and more successful. We believe it's going to be a good investment, probably a lot better than an investment in an MBA.

Whatever success I may have attained I owe, entirely, to the application of your 17 fundamental principles of the Law of Success. |

I know that you that you are doing a world of good with your Law of Success. I would not care to set a monetary value on this training because it brings to the student qualities which cannot be measured by money, alone. |

By applying many of the 17 fundamentals of the Law of Success philosophy we have built a great chain of successful stores. I presume it would be no exaggeration of fact if I said that the Woolworth Building might be called a monument to the soundness of these principles. |

I own several Napoleon Hill books and this book is a must read for everyone seriously interested in success. If you think that success just consists of making money you are dead-wrong. This book will give you more insight. Even if you are not interested in success at all you should read this book to get a taste of Hill's interesting theories and philosophy.
Don't fall into the temptation to think that this book is one of the "Get rich in 5 days" manuals that you can find everywhere. I can assure you it's not. This book is so much more.
When I read it the first I had the feeling that it showed how the world really is. Not how every single individual perceives it to be - but the real picture of what surrounds us. I stopped to see all the barriers and artificial concepts that we created ourselves and that hold us back from becoming whatever we want to become.
There is a reason why some people seem to get it all and most people just go straight to a land called "nowhere".
If you are trying to find the answer - read this book. If you have already read Think and Grow Rich and not yet started to make a fortune - this book is the one you need. Even though "Think and Grow Rich" is a great motivational inspiration - compared to this book, it's just an appetizer.
If you are unsure which one to buy, order this one.
Napoleon Hill's wise and extraordinary depth is a result from the analysis of the most powerful and influential human beings that have lived on this planet. The knowledge and advice he compiled in this book will broaden your horizon to an extend you never imagined.
What I find very interesting is the fact that the more science advances the more you come to realize why his concepts are working and that they are working. Another even more interesting point is that Hill's ideas are still valid in today's world. How many books on success do you know that last nearly 80 years?
This edition has some great features: It shows how the laws are applied in today's world (21st-Century) and how some individuals use them to achieve more than everyone else.
Think of it: A man writes the laws for today's world - a world he has never seen since he is dead for more than 30 years.
Book description in two words: Life-changing.
