This book was written up in every food magazine and in the New York Times in 2005 with glowing reviews. I bought it because I wanted a good Italian cookbook - I got so much more. My girlfriend and I have already used this cookbook probably ten times and I only got it a month ago. The recipes are simple, delicious and rarely require "exotic" ingredients. I cannot say enough about how good this cookbook is. Skip Better Homes and Gardens and The Joy of Cooking - purchase Silver Spoon, you will not be disappointed.
