My 15-month old has never watched the Barney show, but he loves this book! After reading it only a couple of times and doing the hand motions with him, he started doing some of them by himself! He loves to look at the pictures of the children doing the motions (pat your head, tap your nose, now bend down and touch your toes...). There's a different motion on each page. |

My 20 month old and I love this book. It teaches different parts of the body and my son knows the book by heart. Very good book. Would recommend it to anyone. |

My 19 month old daughter doesn't know who Barney is but she loves this book. We got it when she was a year old and she quickly learned to do the movements herself. Now she pats her nose and her head and then looks to me and says "momma" telling me to do it. No other book out there like this that you can do while sitting -so you can start it with an infant! |

My 1 1/2 year old daughter loves this book. When I read it she just laughs. She doesn't do the commands yet like "pat your head", but she seems to get a kick out of me doing it for her. She loves to "read" the book by herself (turning the pages and jabbering). If your child likes the videos, this is a great compliment to that. A. Cummings Mackita. |

My 19 month old loves this book because she has just learned all the body parts. She points to Barney's body parts as well as her own as directed in the book. It is extremely entertaining (the first 100 times) to read and watch her perform. |
