    A letter to MSL customers and partners from CEO Gary Wang:


    Dear customers and partners,

    MSL"Learning & Development"(L&D) Resource Center will commit to serving the L&D needs of top-tier Chinese companies and aspiring managers and professionals in the Greater China region through high-quality information, tools, consulting and interaction.

    Before starting up MSL, I had many years' experience in Fortune 100 companies and therefore know from my personal experience how long it will take for our country to become a true global power. It has been my belief that without a powerful business culture and a mass pool of top managers and professionals, we can't boast any world-class companies even though the number of Fortune 500 Chinese companies is still on the rise each year. Our mission is to work with the leading partners to build an L&D platform that is able to continuously innovate and create value for our customers and the L&D community.

    MindSpan Learning "Learning & Development" Resource Center will consist of the below columns:

    1. Experience Sharing

    Thousands of MSL-owned and quoted articles on learning and development that companies, managers and professionals can count on in their journey to business and career success.

    Covering a wide range of topics including L&D, human resources management, leadership, career development, management, strategy, companies, entrepreneurship, innovation, B-School, global business, cross-cultural communication, job English skills, personal growth and reading & sharing.

    For this purpose, we are now in contact or will soon make contact with such key partners as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, BusinessWeek, Forbes, Fortune, Financial Times, Economist, Yahoo!, Global Entrepreneur, China Business News, 21 Century Business Herald and The Economic Observer.

    2. L&D Columns

    The columnists who host our L&D columns are mostly experienced managers, entrepreneurs and consultants with about 15 years' working experience in well-known global companies. They will share their experience their individual area of expertise, such as leadership, HR, sales & marketing, entrepreneurship, personal and professional success. They will also take questions from our members and registered users on personal and professional success.

    We will also work with the leading L&D and other human resources service providers. Some of our columns will be hosted by these service providers.

    3. B-School

    We plan to build this space into an all-in-one platform for the leading B-schools in the region to publish and promote their MBA/EMBA and EDP offerings and activities so that we can help companies and individuals to save time and efforts. This is also one of the steps to be taken in building a L&D community.

    4. Business Media

    This column is designed to provide space for MSL's media partners to publish their articles under their individual name. For example, all the articles quoted from The Wall Street Journal will be listed in the same-name link. The major difference between articles published in Experience Sharing and in Business Media is that while Experience Sharing divides quoted articles into different categories such as Leadership and Management, articles in Business Media are listed according to the owning media companies such as BusinessWeek and The Wall Street Journal.

    The other feature of Business Media is it tends to be more uniform in language. For example, The BusinessWeek articles will appear solely in English while articles from Chinese media in Chinese to best suit the language level and preferences of our members and registered users.

    5. Download Center

    Download Center will provide paid or free content to MSL members and registered users. The content will be provided either by MSL or third-party L&D and other human resources service providers.

    In whatever case, the content in our Download Center will aim to add value to our website users.

    6. Tools

    Besides corporate training, executive coaching, online learning, executive summary seminars and books. MSL will recommend and sell products and services that will help our members and registered users become more competitive in their jobs. These products may include career and competency assessment tools, licenses for training materials and Franklin Planners.

    7. L&D Community

    MSL's vision is to build a leading L&D platform in the Greater China region and community is part of this platform strategy. Through the community that will make interaction and sharing among people possible , we will be able to further help our members and registered users in their L&D efforts.

    8. Partnerships

    We base our success on the productive collaboration and partnerships with our well-chosen partners. We will acknowledge and commit to further expanding those partnerships by listing our most important partners and by working with them on new projects to grow our business.
